Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works with Formulary and our customers to ideate and develop award winning products
- Manages on-going contractual customer projects
- Supervises chemical analysis processes. Reviews the work assignments of chemists and support staff for optimum staff utilization.
- Plans analytical procedures for use in complex analyses. Reviews special chemical investigations. Writes and/or reviews reports.
- Reviews monthly inventory of chemical materials and raw ingredients.
- Reviews changes to company chemical analysis manual and approves for distribution.
- May represent the company at industry technical meetings and trade shows.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong personal communication and leadership skills.
- Experience as a section head in a formulation laboratory.
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent
- At least 10 years experience in formulation chemistry
